What is O.S.C.A.R.? 

Do you have a dog that you love but struggle to live with peacefully? O.S.C.A.R may be the solution! Since I’m sure you’ve never heard of it, let me explain. 

O.S.C.A.R. is a therapy/training that addresses things that seem unsolvable. The process is a lifelong resolution to fear, phobias, antisocial behaviors, aggression, anxiety - Any behavior which  makes a dog difficult to have as a pet, Oscar can fix. O.S.C.A.R. offers dog owners a  solution  which is  a permanent fix.  

But  what IS it?

Essentially, it's a game. However,  it is  a game that fundamentally re-structures how the dog interacts with their environment, forever,and it is a game that is driven by the dog. Through the game, they learn self-empowerment. The  dog sets the pace and the structure which allows them to feel in control. The instant result from OSCAR, regardless of what your goals are, is a more confident dog.

Think back to something you learned because you HAD to. Do you still remember it? Compare that with something you learned because you wanted to. Totally different, right? Your mind remembers things it finds empowering and enjoyable. This is what OSCAR is for your dog. It is a game which they play, first because it’s fun and then because they want to! Often in the first session the dog is learning to trust that it is just a game and figuring out there are no “strings attached”. During the second session, the dog typically is eager to get started and is excited to play again. 

Through the game, I reprogram their aberrant responses into  normal, socially acceptable, confident responses to stimuli.
